Author’s Guideline

General Guidelines

The Indian Journal of Engineering and Technology (IJET), published by PhD Kro, India, invites original research articles, review articles, technical papers, and interdisciplinary studies in engineering, technology, and applied sciences. Manuscripts should present a clear research contribution, appropriate methodology, and well-supported findings. All submissions must be original, relevant to the journal’s Aims and Scope, and not published or under consideration by another journal.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be prepared in clear academic English and submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). Each submission should contain the article title, full names of authors, institutional affiliations, corresponding author’s email address, abstract, keywords, main text, declarations, and references. ORCID identifiers may be provided where available. Original research articles should generally follow the structure of Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Authors may adapt this structure to suit the nature of their research.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should briefly describe the research objectives, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions. It must accurately represent the manuscript and should not contain unsupported claims or unnecessary references. Authors should provide relevant keywords reflecting the main subject, technical approach, and research focus.

Tables, Figures and References

Tables, figures, diagrams, and illustrations must be numbered consecutively, clearly labelled, and appropriately cited in the manuscript. Images and technical drawings should be suitable for publication, with readable text and standard measurement units. References must follow the IEEE citation style, using numbered in-text citations such as [1], [2], and [3], with corresponding entries arranged in citation order. Authors are responsible for verifying the accuracy and accessibility of all cited sources.

Research Ethics and Declarations

Authors must ensure that their research complies with accepted academic and ethical standards. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, falsification, and inappropriate authorship are not permitted. All co-authors must approve the submitted manuscript. Relevant statements concerning funding, conflicts of interest, ethical approval, informed consent, and data availability should be included where applicable. The use of artificial intelligence tools must be disclosed in accordance with the journal’s AI Use Policy.

Research Data and Reproducibility

Research methods, experimental procedures, computational models, and analytical techniques should be explained sufficiently to allow readers to assess the reliability of the findings. Authors are encouraged to provide supporting datasets, software details, and supplementary materials where appropriate and legally permissible. Confidential or personally identifiable information must be protected.

Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s official online submission system, accessible from the Submit Manuscript section of the journal website. The corresponding author is responsible for entering accurate manuscript information, uploading the required files, and completing the submission declarations. A submission reference is generated for tracking and correspondence. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or external peer review.

Peer Review and Editorial Decisions

Submitted manuscripts undergo preliminary editorial screening to assess their relevance, originality, technical quality, and compliance with journal requirements. Manuscripts meeting the initial criteria may proceed to independent peer review. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, methodological soundness, research integrity, and reviewer recommendations. Authors requested to revise their manuscripts must submit a revised version along with a point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments. Final acceptance remains the responsibility of the authorized academic editor.

IJET follows an immediate open-access publishing model. Authors retain copyright and grant PhD Kro a non-exclusive licence to publish and distribute accepted articles. Published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, allowing sharing and adaptation with appropriate attribution. Authors must complete the required Copyright Declaration and Licence to Publish Agreement before publication.

Article Processing Charges

Any applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs) and additional publication-related fees are specified in the journal’s official publication charges policy. Authors should review these conditions before submission. Payment of publication charges, where applicable, is requested only after editorial acceptance and does not influence peer review or editorial decisions.

Author Correspondence

For questions regarding manuscript preparation, submission requirements, editorial procedures, or publication policies, authors may contact the journal through its official communication channels.
